Event Description
The Path to an Operational Diversity and Inclusion Program: A Strategic Impact on Attraction, Engagement and Retention
Presented by Dr. Elizabeth Otenaike
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics
*Submitted for One HRCI Strategic Credit*

The changing demographics, shrinking pool of graduates, and changing needs of employees are making it more challenging for organizations to attract, engage and retain the best of the best talents. Employees are looking for organizations where they are respected and valued and they are able to contribute to their fullest potential. Diversity and Inclusion initiatives can add to the success of your organization by improving attraction, engagement and retention of valued employees, which affects the bottom line. Join us to explore and discuss further, how Diversity and Inclusion initiatives are having a significant impact on the attraction, engagement and retention of the best of the best talents.

In this session, we will explore the strategic implications and the paths to implementing a Diversity and Inclusion initiative in the work place. We will discuss:

* The Business Case (Supply and Demand)
* Defining the Program
* Preparing the organization for a Diversity and Inclusion change program
* Steps to implementing a Diversity and Inclusion program
* Communication
* Tracking and measuring impact
* Success factors and lessons learned
