This job will be located in Plano, Texas.

The AT&T Mobility Consumer eCommerce Team is responsible for AT&T's online presence for selling products and services. This industry leading telecom site has previously ranked in the top five retail web sites visited on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We support millions of UVs every month and enable a crucial channel for AT&T.

We are seeking a Senior ATG/Java Developer for the B2C buy flow development team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving our \site as we continue to innovate and drive more sales through our channel. Primary responsibilities include:

Responsibilities:
* Design and develop Java/ATG software components in a fast paced multidisciplinary environment.
* Lead on discrete development projects and should take complete ownership of technical solution.
* Develop accurate level of effort estimates, and manage task schedules.
* Excellent communication skills that can be used to effectively communicate technical concepts to business teams.
* Understand consumer customer requirements with respect to its impact to the success of the business goal and be able to translate them to a technical implementation.
* Suggest innovative solutions to business problems/processes that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, performance improvements, and better user experiences.
* Provide direction and mentoring to junior developers.
* Interact well with other technical team leaders such as architects, testing, analysts, and release managers as a lead member of the development team in order to accomplish the business goal.

Required Skills:
* 5 years of J2EE and Java programming experience
* 3 years of experience in implementing ATG 2007 based applications using Commerce, Personalization and Scenario servers.
* Strong understanding of Java programming best practices
* Strong understanding of JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI - Technologies
* Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts
* Strong object oriented design and design patterns experience
* Strong understanding of SDLC processes and methodologies
* Experienced with relational database SQL
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and production diagnostic skills.

Additional skills preferred:
* Oracle 10G database working experience
* eCommerce application development experience
* Experience with B2C projects/applications
* Experience w/ Java Application Servers, preferably Web Logic Server
* Strong experience with SOAP and Web Services
* Industry experience in Telecom/Wireless

BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering or equivalent technical degree required
