Job: Web Developer

This is a technical, hands-on position supporting CiNet’s internet, intranet websites and email projects. As a member of the Information Technology group, the Website Developer will have joint responsibility for day-to-day website operations working closely with internal and external technical and graphic design team members. The ideal candidate will be able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced team environment, have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to communicate complex ideas in simple terms.
Essential Functions

Designing, developing, testing, documenting, monitoring, and maintaining internet and intranet projects including website enhancements, database-backed websites, web layout enhancements and web-based applications,

Managing databases used by websites for dynamic content. Working with internal IT and external contractors as required to integrate back-end systems to support future e-commerce and e-learning development.

Designing and implementing Flash applications with embedded video.

Analyzing and reporting website traffic.

Developing and implementing social media applications.

Ensuring that CiNet complies with web standard requirements and industry best practices.
Developing and supporting customer newsletter and other emailing.

Identifying and developing emailing list collection points and opportunities.

3 years as hands-on web-developer in a corporate setting.

Proficient in the following development languages and environments:

HTML/XHTML

CSS

PHP

SQL, MySQL

Flash, ActionScript 3, Adobe Flex, Flash Media Server 2 or 3

Ajax

Solid understanding of Web Standards and SEO/SEM

Ability to work closely with internal and external technical and design staff, adapt to a rapidly changing environment and meet tight deadlines.

Experience developing and/or supporting e-commerce applications highly desirable.

Experience developing and/or supporting ASP and ASP.NET applications desirable
