Blog Post: Get Paid To Do What You Like To Do

I participated in the Jobing.com and Fox26 News Job Seeker Phone Calls program back in July 18, 2008. There were were many great callers, and one stuck with me. A gentleman caller, had pretty much worked all the A to Z so he would receive his retirement pay. Alas, he needed to go back to work. He wanted to get paid to read. Hmmmmm..sounds like a nice gig. And it’s out there! As I told the caller, Google “get paid to read books” and see what comes up. If reading is your passion, why not get paid to do it? You may not make as much money as a regular fulltime employee commuting and punching a clock, but remember that you don’t have to be there at a certain time, dress a certain way, etc. That opens up a lot of doors! What do you have a passion for? How do you spend your spare time? Maybe you should do some soul searching and get paid to do what you like to do!
