Blog Post: Employers Need To Google Themselves

If you are a recruiter or manager at your firm, I suggest you Google yourself for company articles, blog information, and photos.  For example, you may be surprised that someone has posted your photo without your permission.  Or someone with the same exact name has a profile posted.  You may have written an article for a company newsletter that gives away your direct office phone or email…this can be good or bad.  If some job seeker is so resourceful to use the internet to find a way to directly contact you then that can be a display of their ability.  It also can be, in excess, considered stalking.
