A lot of people will decide to find a new job after the new year. Get through the holidays and the end of the year and start all over again. It is a great oportunity to start fresh and new. It is a time for new beginnings.
So just how do you make that transition to new employment? You've done your networking and your resume is the strongest its ever been. The next step is to research the company. Here on Jobing.com you can watch a ton of videos to get you prepared. Here you will find tips on all kinds of things form how to dress to what to say on the interview. But where else do you go?? A most popular place to start your researh is by putting that company name into any search engine. This includes any of the search engines. Google, Yahoo, Ask, MSN just to name a few. Then of course is the company website. Here you will be able to learn about the culture and also about the leaders in the company. Then pop those names into the search engine to research the Executive Leadership of a company. Lastly, make sure you ask around. Call friends and family to see if they have ever heard of the company and/or executives. See if you can find out anything you can. If you are interviewing with a company who is public meaning they have stock traded on the Stock Exchange, check out what that stock price is doing, how it is trending in the past and expectations for the future. Having your research done BEFORE you go on an interview will make things go more smoothly. I promise. You will feel more confident and more at ease during the interview because you will know how to direct the interivew. Good luck and GO RESEARCH!
