Blog Post: Insightful Job Seeker Tip: Don't SPAM Your Resume to Recruiters

Best case scenario:  You get a call about a job you are NOT qualified for, will NOT enjoy and will NOT sustain if hired for.

Worst case scenario  You gain a reputation – a negative reputation – and when the RIGHT job becomes available you won’t be in contention since you are already known as “that guy” (or gal).

Anyone else see the irony?

Earlier today I received a "Blog Author Contact" from this post .....anyone care to guess what the email was??  You guessed it --- a non-solicited resume.  Seriously.  I couldn't make this stuff up. 

What has happened is that THAT person has become "that guy".  Insightful Endeavors International is not currently hiring....there is not position to even BE qualified for. 

This is a perfect example of what NOT to do.  Use time and consideration before submitting your resume.  Don't become "that guy".
