Before even thinking about posting your resume to great websites like Jobing.com or directly to potential employers, your resume has got to have that sparkle that draws hiring managers in so that they want to call you.  There are plenty of great resources that you can utilize to help you craft a resume that gets you noticed above your competition.  The Texas Workforce Commission offers some assistance in putting together a resume - though it will have a template look.  There are companies like The Resume Corporation (www.theresumecorporation.com) where you can pay to have a resume written for you.  If you're in school, definitely utilize your career development center to have them help you put a solid resume together.

Once you feel like your resume is written in a way where you look like a reliable and brilliant professional, then it's time to hit all of the job boards with your resume.  Make sure that words that might be searched with regards to popular job description show up.  From titles to software programs to skills you may have, it should all be listed on your resume.  Highlight outstanding accomplishments and you'll be looking on to great new opportunities within your job search.
