Blog Post: What happens after you submit your application at The T

Thank you for submitting your resume to Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The-t). We appreciate that you took the time to express interest in joining our team. After applying, the first question that most applicants have is "What happens next?" Below is an outline of our selection process to help set your expectations.

• Your application will be reviewed by one or more of management team.
• Please set aside one hour to self register and complete the online assessment at www.profilesontheweb.com.  Please do not retake the assessment as this will cause a delay in processing your application.  Send me an email if you have completed the online assessment foranother position.    

The online assessment must be completed by all applicants in order to be considered for the position.
Enter the_T at the prompt for Authorizing ID (note: all codes are case sensitive)
Enter thet for the Authorization Code (note: all codes are case sensitive)
Enter the NAME OF THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR next to position.

• The hiring manager will review your application and online assessment.   Should it be determined that our interest and your interest warrant moving to the next step in the process, a Human Resource representative will arrange for a face-to-face interview.
• Arrangements will either be made for you to complete another assessment, or the Hiring Coordinator will call back within a few days to coordinate a meeting. 

We will typically interview multiple candidates for each position before making a final selection decision and the entire process may take anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks. We ask that, in order to help all parties involved make a timely decision, you return calls from Fort Worth Transportation Authority staff as promptly as possible. This will ensure that we know that you still have interest in joining our organization.

Because of the large number of individuals who apply to our organization, we unfortunately are not able to personally contact everyone. If you have not heard from Fort Worth Transportation Authority within 30 days of applying, you should assume that you are no longer in consideration for the position(s) to which you applied.
