A major key to a successful interview is being PREPARED for the interview. Doing your homework of a potential employer can mean the difference in getting the job or continuing the search.
There are so many ways to do your homework. Of course, the internet provides the best way. Jobing.com provides a few ways to get you started. 1. Video - The Jobing.com Videos of companies and great jobs are the best way to see what the culture and style of the company are. You can gain a lot of knowelge of the company from the Jobing videos. 2. Google the company. You will find information from a variety of sources just by Googling the company. 3. Check out the individual sites of the business publications, newspapers and magazines. To see if there have been any recent stories or news reports about the company. 4. Ask around to see if any of your friends, acquaintances or their friends have had any interaction with the company. 5. MOST IMPORTANTLY, READ the company's pwn website. Surf around and explore the entire site. 6. Lastly, DO NOT go to an interview - EVER - without doing your pre-interview research. Good Luck! Make it fun. What a wonderful learning opportunity.
