Blog Post: Career EXPO - Yes, it is for you!

Ok Job Seekers - Listen UP. Career Expo is coming to the Will Rogers Memorial Center on Tuesday, May 13th at Noon and you need to be there. In my blogs I have shared with you my thoughts about Job Fairs. I was so stupid. I didn't realize that it would benefit me to attend. I was under the huge misperception that Job Fairs were only for entry level and lower level job seekers. And since I was by all accounts considered "Mid-Level Management" that it wasn't for me. Funny, I recently spoke with a college graduate who said "yeah, job fairs, aren't those for people with more experience?"

So the message is this...Job Fairs, Career Expos, Career Fairs...whatever name they go by, THEY ARE FOR YOU. Here's the thing, the person who's staffing the booth at that event often hires for all levels. What this means for you is that even though the recruiters are at the Career Expo for to hire for one position today, they might have an immediate need tomorrow for YOU.

Join us at the Will Rogers Memorial Center on Tuesday, May 13th from noon to 5:00. Parking is free and you can even ride the bus if you need to.
