The Madison on Marsh opened to the Carrollton community in January 2007. It is a 125-bed residential health community offering an interior design parallel to an independent living community while providing comprehensive rehabilitation and round-the-clock nursing. The Madison on Marsh is not what you typically think of when you hear “nursing home” or “assisted living facility.” This Cantex Senior Community has comfortable, inviting amenities and includes programs that address the whole person, not just their medical needs.

Services

Each Cantex Senior Community is designed to support your complete recovery. The clinical priority is to return the resident to the highest state of independence. The goal is to support the resident so that they may enjoy the highest practical quality of life possible. In order to meet those objectives, the following medical and rehabilitative therapies are provided in most Cantex Senior Communities

Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation Services

• Physical therapy for gait training, strengthening, and body mechanics
• Occupational therapy to improve activities of daily living (grooming, dressing, bathing, cooking, etc) as well as wheelchair assessment
• Speech-language pathology to provide cognitive retraining, treat speech disorders, as well as swallowing difficulties
