About Improved Experience:
Improved Experience is all about facilitating conversations between employers and job seekers. Acting as third-party researchers hired by our client companies, we invite job seekers to provide their anonymous and candid feedback about their experiences of interacting with the company throughout the selection and hiring process. Our secure online feedback portal captures the perceptions and opinions from job seekers and is then aggregated and reported to the client company in an online dashboard. The job seekers remain completely anonymous and the feedback companies see aggregates, measures, and benchmarks the responses to the individual questions. Companies can choose from a library of over 400 standard questions and 15 categories including business reputation, culture, pay and benefits, and recruiting process, to name just a few.
Companies subscribe to our online service in order to receive a constant stream of feedback from the very job seekers they eventually hope to attract, develop, engage, and retain so they can ensure their process is friendly and attractive to job seekers. Subscribing companies can also better understand how their employer brand is being received by job seekers, improve their targeted outreach programs, and improve employee engagement at the earliest possible point in time: pre-hire.
Job seekers find their way to our system when they receive a secure email inviting their participation in an online feedback survey. Because our system allows their anonymity, job seekers can be completely candid about their experience of interacting with a prospective employer without ever having to worry their comments will jeopardize their job search. Every interaction with a prospective employer is a piece of communication that can be evaluated by the job seeker: was it easy to indicate interest in a job (i.e., apply)? Was each interaction with the interview team friendly and enticing to the prospective employee? How about the offer--were the negotiations respectful? And finally, what was it like to actually join the company? Like a customer satisfaction survey, the responses to these questions and many others help prospective employers better respond to the needs of employees vying to join their team.
About Alise Cortez: Work is an important part of our lives, whether what we do for a living is our passion or a means to pay the bills. After all, we spend about 1/3 of our day in exchange for a paycheck. I say, why not make the most of it? With today's lower unemployment rate, job seekers have a choice. We at Improved Experience want to make sure the views of job seekers are heard. It's a win/win for everyone: companies need to know what job seekers want or don't want as they navigate the selection and hiring process; and prospective employers desperately need this feedback in order to remain competitive in today's global marketplace.
