The West Dallas Chamber of Commerce is committed to serving the business needs of the West Dallas area in Dallas, Texas by promoting civic and private efforts to improve the local community. The Chamber provides advice on Planning and Development for businesses and governmental entities, a networking group to promote business activity between members of the Chamber, information on important legislative matters affecting businesses, and works with area neighborhood organizations to foster a healthy relationship between the business and neighborhood communities. MEETINGS: HISTORICAL INFORMATION:The West Dallas Chamber of Commerce formerly known as the West Dallas Business Association is a non-profit Texas corporation serving the West Dallas area. The Business Association was incorporated in 1994 and officially changed its name to The West Dallas Chamber of Commerce in July of 2002 after consultation and advice from a marketing research survey conducted by the Graduate School of Management from the University of Dallas. SERVICE AREA: The physical boundaries include a northern boundary of the Trinity River, a southern boundary of Interstate 30, The Tom Landry Freeway, an eastern boundary of the Continental Bridge bordering Downtown Dallas, and a western boundary of the City limits of Dallas and Grand Prairie, Texas. The general membership of the West Dallas Chamber of Commerce meets monthly on the second Tuesday of every month at Goodwill Industries located on the corner of Westmoreland Road and Singleton Boulevard in Dallas. The meetings begin at 11:30 AM and end at 1 PM. Participants of the meeting may order a lunch prior to the meeting by contacting the Chamber's secretary at (214) 631-5047.
