• Financial Empowerment

The National Urban League works diligently to focus on economic self-sufficiency. ULGDYP assist in this endeavor by championing initiatives that provide a solid foundation for areas such as homeownership, entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation.

• Real World Education

ULGDYP recognizes the incredible need to give back to the generation who will follow in our footsteps and understands the need of positive role models for many of the young people throughout our communities. Thus, ULGDYP works to help build a bridge between young professionals and the school environment through the development of mentoring and other youth programs.

• Political Participation

Using various platforms, such as candidate forums and voter registration drives, ULGDYP works diligently to ensure that the community-at-large is informed and educated on issues that affect their lives and communities. As part of the national agenda, ULGDYP also works to engage its constituents in the political process and encourage them to effect change for better communities.
