Job: Grants and Contracts Coordinator I

The North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) is seeking a Grants and Contracts Coordinator I to coordinate and support grant-related services, particularly as they relate to budgetary and contract concerns. Responsibilities include facilitating receipt of revenue for planning and implementation projects, participating in development and maintenance of the departmental budget, participating in development and maintenance of the Unified Planning Work Program, maintaining project and financial status information, assisting in the procurement of consultants and other services, reviewing and processing consultant invoices and other payments, and maintaining third-party partnerships.

Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree. Applicants must have strong computer skills and possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Applicants must also possess strong math skills, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
