Additionally, Crump Group, Inc. is a leading provider of record keeping and support services to company-sponsored retirement plans and a full-service provider of product and support services to the IRA and retirement services industry.



We are currently in the process of searching for a Payroll Specialist to work as part of our HR Shared Services Team, reporting to our Payroll Manager in our Dallas, Texas office.



The Role:

  • Performs tasks to establish and maintain employee/payroll records

  • Processes all special and recurring payments, deductions, garnishments, time-entry, and other periodic edits to the Payroll system

  • Checks and audits timekeeping records for compliance with established standards

  • Maintains time and attendance records

  • Enters new hires into the payroll system

  • Interfaces with division counterparts to ensure all deadlines are met and payroll processes accurately and timely

  • Assists with resolution of customer questions and problems in a timely and professional manner



Requirements

  • 5 years of high-volume HR/Payroll-related experience

  • Experience with large system required, Ceridian system is strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of processing garnishments including knowledge of tax levies, all rules and regulations surrounding garnishments and court orders

  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in fundamental payroll concepts and Excel

  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form to all levels of associates

  • Superior customer service focus and attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality with sensitive information
