Job Description: Provides professional nursing care; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Provides care that meets the psychosocial, physical, cultural and general aspects of care. Determines priorities of care based on physical, cultural and psychosocial needs of patients, as well as factors influencing patient flow through the system. Communicates with physicians regarding changes in patient's status, symptomatology and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

We expect care giving to reflect initiative and responsibility, indicative of professional expectations. You will be responsible for full nursing care of assigned patients; assessing plans, give and evaluate nursing care needed by assigned patients. Teaches self-help measures to patients and family members. May serve in a precepting/mentoring role for lower level Staff Nurses.

Your goal will be to communicate on behalf of the patients, to reflects the Mission, Values, Ethics and Goals of the facility.

This position will report to the Manager - PACU/PAT/Pre-Op, and is to be clinically competent; delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patient, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining our standard for professional nursing.

Current TX RN License

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

minimum three (3) years clinical experience

Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
