Job Summary:
Perform all checking and service counter courtesy duties including but not limited to food packaging, preparation, labeling, storage shelf stocking, general housekeeping, safety and sanitation, and other duties as may be assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

Exceed our guests’ expectation for service and build a reputation for outstanding guest service.

Walk the sales floor every 30 minutes to ensure all display vehicles are clean, well merchandised, and signed.

Check out-of-department displays every hour and ensure displays are well stocked, merchandised, and signed.

Ensure clean and proper signing is used at all times.

Ensure packing guidelines are followed.

Ensure that quality products are available for sale and products are rotated and shelf life coded according to company policy.

Ensure bakery product samples are available at all times. Demo and sell product as time permits or as instructed by management.

Follow daily duties and ensure they are completed in an accurate and timely manner.

Follow daily work schedule.

Follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook.

Follow attendance and tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook.

Perform service counter, checking, stocking, food handling (food packaging, preparation, labeling, and storage) - duties in order to ensure safety, convenience and value for guests and team members.

Greet and talk politely with every guest on premises.

Be attentive at all times to needs of guests and be ready and able to serve and/or direct guests.

Perform any other related duties as requested or by management.

Key Requirements:

Ability to work at fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.

Ability to perform all physical aspects of position, including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Must possess manual dexterity.

Ability to read and communicate in English.

Ability to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs. and push and pull up to 70 lbs.

Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes.

Ability to operate checking, labeling, packaging, food and preparation equipment; keep accurate records, count money and make change.

Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.

Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.

Attend meetings and training sessions when called upon.
