Jobing Description

The T, a public transportation system, has an immediate opening for a Part-Time Revenue Service Agent to work approximately twenty-five hours a week. The successful candidate will represent the Accounting Department in a positive, customer friendly, respectful, honest and professional manner.

Responsibilities include: ensuring that all revenue vehicles are probed and cashboxes are exchanged, if required, properly securing full cashboxes, running reports to ensure all vehicles have been probed and collect ridership data.

Skills / Requirements

- Mathematical computations using simple addition and subtraction; copying and recording figures; counting buses and fareboxes.

ABILITY TO:
- Understand and follow written and/or oral instructions.
- Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees.
- Remove and empty cashboxes that weight upto 35 pounds.
- Maintain log of late buses, contract service, special events.
- The starting hours for this position will be Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 5:30pm-1:30am

Physical activity includes, but is not limited to: balancing, carrying, feeling, grasping, handling, holding, lifting, reaching below waist, reaching waist to shoulders, standing, stooping pushing, pulling when removing and replacing cashboxes; driving company vehicle in parking lot; walking from bus and/or vans to vault; climbing up and down van and bus steps; seeing other buses/vans, buildings, repetitive motion of wrist, hands, arms and/or fingers when using probe and computer; talking to customers on telephone; locking cashbox, and moving about T property.
