Job: Hardware Refurbishing Technician (2nd shift)

The Hardware Refurbisher’s primary job function is to refurbish video game units for resale by completing diagnostic processes.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to fulfill optimum efficiency of this position:

Responsible for maintaining production and accuracy standards of pre-set Hardware Refurbishing goals.

Ensure that all resale hardware units are completely refurbished and sufficiently ready for resale by following all quality assurance standards and guidelines.

Responsible for counting and recording relevant information related to hardware refurbishing per pre-established guidelines.

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Ability to stand and walk without assistance for up to 8 hours per day.

Availability to work for extended periods of time during high volume periods (up to 12 hours per day).

Ability to lift and/or move boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 lbs., horizontally, and from ground level to a minimum height of 4 feet.

Ability to bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, climb on ladders, and drag wooden pallets weighing up to 60 lbs.

Ability to use pens, pencils, calculators, and other production equipment without assistance.

Ability to operate soldering equipment and manual razors unassisted.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

AS Degree Electronic Technology or Computer Science preferred or minimum of High School diploma and 2 years of relative experience in electronics.

Previous experience working in a distribution center environment.

Basic mathematical (add, subtract, multiply, divide), writing, and communication skills required.
