Jobing Description

The Software Clerk will ensure that all software is ready for processing and that optimum quality, production, and repair needs are met at all times.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Inspect quality of software to ensure that acceptable product is being processed and shipped

Responsible for proper kitting and stickering of software product

Ensure that all software repair equipment is in good working order

Communicate any issues to management that could result in software process delays, safety issues, or anything else that would cause loss to the company or its associates

Work closely with other team members to ensure that daily goals are obtained or exceeded. Flexibility to perform other tasks in the software department as requested by a Lead, Supervisor, or Management

Follow all safety procedures and utilize good judgment at all times

Ensure daily, weekly, monthly departmental production/accuracy/efficiency goals are met

Skills / Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications — specifically, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

Communicate proficiently with management, corporate/DC personnel and visitors/vendors

Dexterity/Ability to utilize writing utensils (pen/pencil), calculators, small hand-held tools, manual razors and other mechanical/electrical production equipment without assistance.
