Performs physical therapy programs under the general supervision of a physical therapist
unless the state practice is described differently.

Skills / Requirements
Education
Graduate of accredited two year Physical Therapy Assistant program or licensed, certified, or
registered in accordance with applicable State law. In states where there is no licensure,
certification, or registration requirement, must be a graduate of accredited program.

Physical Demands
Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25
pounds. Walking, standing, bending, stooping and sitting for extended periods. Full use of gross
and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities. Good verbal and written
communication skills. Ability to use insight when utilizing applicable tests and equipment.

Travel
May accompany a resident to an appointment or home assessment, assist at other centers
and/or attend company sponsored meetings.
