Job: Baker - Colleyville Location

Job Title: Baker

Job Summary:

To produce from scratch, frozen or mix, products that are of the highest quality. Perform all production and other duties including but not limited to sanitation, general housekeeping, and other duties as may be assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean work area, practice safe work habits and report needed repairs, safety hazards, and safety concerns.
• Follow recipes and use only approved ingredients according to product management specifications.
• Ensure ingredients and component products are rotated on a first in, first out basis.
• Accurately follow production sheets.
• Manage time and be organized so as to complete job duties as required.
• Produce high quality products. Report quality issues as soon as they occur to the manager on duty.
• Perform all production jobs: scaling, mixing, bench and oven work.
• Be set up and prepared for the next day production.
• Follow daily work schedule.
• Comply with health department regulations and follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook.
• Follow attendance and tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook.
• Greet and talk politely with every guest on premises.
• Perform any other duties as requested or required by management.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.
• Ability to perform all physical aspects of the position, including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting and walking.

• Must possess manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. and push and pull up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Ability to operate bakery equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
• Ability to read and follow recipes - scaling, mixing, proofing, and baking.
• Ability to work within a freezer for up to 15 minutes.
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.
• Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
• Attend meetings and training sessions when called upon
