Job Title: Floral Clerk

Immediate Supervisor: Floral Manager

Job Summary:
Perform all floral duties, including process of orders and floral design. Provide exceptional guest service for all guests. Execute floral procedures as outlined by company and floral manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional guest service.

Follow daily work schedule as assigned by management.

Follow dress code in accordance with team member handbook and all required health codes.

Follow attendance tardiness guidelines in accordance with team member handbook.

Greet and talk politely with every guest as guest contact dictates; this includes on grocery aisles, in parking lot, etc.

Perform floral duties in accordance with company guidelines.

Perform any other related duties as requested or required by management in accordance with company guidelines.

Key Requirements:

Working knowledge of plants and flowers.

Ability to work in varied temperatures.

Ability to work in fast-paced, but efficient and controlled manner.

Ability to perform all physical aspects of the floral duties including but not limited to standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Ability to read, write and complete company forms for sales reporting.

Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.

Ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers.

Visual acuity sufficient to read product labels, coupons, and prices.

Independent mobility within the department - standing and walking for 8-10 hours.

Strength to lift, push, or pull objects weighing 25 pounds.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays.

Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
