Jobing Description

The Inventory Control Associate’s primary job function is to cycle count inventory in order to reconcile quantities in WM and BRIAN software system.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

Cycle count products in order to provide accurate information to multiple departments

Responsible for moving products to different assigned locations

Perform visual validation of merchandise to description and package details

Verify several locations to ensure product is in the correct area

Run a series of inventory reports and perform several detailed analyses

Skills / Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES

Intermediate knowledge related to data analysis and problem solving – including identifying and solving issues

Proficient interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all associate levels and external parties

Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications — specifically, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work as scheduled to meet company attendance standards, including extended hours as required during peaks in business operations

Working knowledge of business computer systems and applications — specifically, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Publisher, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to work as scheduled to meet company attendance standards, including extended hours as required during peaks in business operations

Ability to lift and/or move boxes, totes and other objects weighing up to 50 pounds on an infrequent, as needed basis
