Jobing Description
The purpose of this position is to manage the Circulation department of the Main Library, to assist in maintaining a current library collection and to provide customer service to the public. This is accomplished by supervising 8 employees, assisting in developing the library collection, providing customer services to the public at both the circulation and reference desks and planning various activities. Other duties include completing various projects as assigned.
Skills / Requirements
Graduation from an American Library Association accredited college or university with possession of a Master of Library Science degree and over one (1) year library experience required. Experience using Dynix Horizon Information System, Microsoft Office, Internet or comparable software programs preferred. Excellent customer service skills, flexible thinking and positive attitude required.
