Job: Litigation Legal Secretary w/ Bankruptcy Experience

Busy North Dallas Law Firm is seeking a high-energy Litigation Secretary. If you have some Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy experience, that is a huge plus! Litigation secretary must have 3-7 years of legal experience and needs to be highly skilled in Word, WordPerfect, Excel, and type a minimum of 65 wpm. Great attitude, friendly smile, and a “go-getter” personality is exactly what we need. We love candidates that appreciate a good job and want to be a part of a winning team.

Litigation secretary will be supporting 2-3 lawyers and will be responsible for typing, revising and formatting legal documents, transcription, communicating with the courts and clients – and you must be a great team player. Prior experience with litigation is an absolute must. This firm is extremely busy and needs a person that can hit the ground running, follows rules, does not miss work, shows up on time, and has great tenure.

Candidates will be tested in Word, WordPerfect, Typing, Spelling and Grammar and Excel. Superior spelling, proofreading and good grammar skills are an absolute must. References will be checked; background check and drug screen may be required. Salary is 35-38k with excellent benefits and great location.
