Job: Experienced Patent Prosecution Legal Secretary

Our client, a downtown Dallas national law firm, is seeking a very professional and experienced Patent Prosecution Legal Secretary who will support one (1) Partner and two (2) Associates. Legal Secretary must have 5+ years experience working on patent prosecution cases, extensive knowledge of IDS rules and regulations, experience conducting USPTO searches, and ability to keep up with IDS spreadsheets. Other duties that legal secretary will complete involve typing and revising documents, communicating with clients, and proofreading and submitting attorney’s billing statements.

Software used: Elite, PATTSY, APS document management, and Prolaw is a huge plus.

The attorneys are very cordial, fair and easy to work with. Legal Secretary will need to be someone who thrives on hard work in a fast paced environment. Great benefits and firm culture. Salary is up to $60k for the most experienced candidate.
