The AT&T Consumer eCommerce Team is responsible for AT&T's online presence for selling products and services. This industry leading telecom site has previously ranked in the top five retail web sites visited on both Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We support millions of UVs every month and enable a crucial channel for AT&T.
Leverage knowledge of enterprise IT systems and interfaces and work closely with IT and enterprise architects to address project/initiative needs, understand impacts and create integrated solutions.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Senior Architect for the eCommerce Team. This is a hands-on position expected to provide code-level guidance as well as creating working examples and prototypes to drive solutions and guide development teams. Responsible for multiple projects or large complex projects with cross functional teams and business processes. Demonstrate expert knowledge in multiple technical and business functional areas as well as performing a larger leadership role in the organization. Apply broad in-depth business and technical knowledge to establish technical direction and priorities. Resolve and work on issues across multiple functional areas. Effectively monitor and take action to ensure coordination and effectiveness of all components and activities and decide on issues requiring escalation. Incumbents understand the system flow for a project throughout an entire functional area (e.g. Billing, Customer Care) not just a subsystem area. In addition, candidate must have a thirst for knowledge and emerging web technologies to define strategies and design architectures for the future success of att.com.

Required Skills:
* 5+ years experience as a ATG/Java/J2EE web application architect
* 5+ years of experience in implementing ATG 6.x/7.x based applications using Commerce, Personalization and Scenario servers. Must have ATG 7.x experience. Must have subject matter expertise in ATG Commerce.
* 10 Years experience in development with specific experience in one or more of the following: Java, JSP/JSTL, SQL, scripting, XML/SOAP.
* Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, DHTML, JSP, AJAX, XML, XSLT and basic UI - Technologies
* Strong object oriented design and design patterns experience
* Strong knowledge of UNIX, Apache and eCommerce platforms like ATG, BEA or WebSphere.
* Strong knowledge of RDBMS systems, especially Oracle, and object-relational mapping frameworks like ATG repositories, hibernate, and JPA.
* Experience delivering 24x7, high volume web applications in clustered and multi-tier environments, with strong understanding of robust threading, pooling, connection, and transaction mgt.
* Experience creating an ecommerce site from user experience down to the database and across web service interfaces to the enterprise.
* Experience with technologies and tools for creating Web 2.0 rich internet applications such as IceFaces, AJAX frameworks, etc.
* Solid understanding of current online security risks, CPNI requirements and web security strategies.
* Knowledge of security and networking technologies such as intrusion detection systems, server technologies, networking components, TCP/IP WANs, VPNs, Firewalls, encryption ( IPSec, PKI, Oracle application level ) and authentication / access control / SSO system
* Ability to serve as evangelist of architectural vision, strategy, and principles creating enterprise frameworks that allow other architects, developers and IT professionals to work in sync
* Knowledge of AT&T enterprise IT systems and interface layers (e.g., CSI, OPUS, CARE/Telegence, Enabler, Address Validation, Credit Check) a plus.
* Knowledge of AT&T enterprise systems and functions supporting wireline business (e.g., Lightspeed, DSL, etc.) a plus.

Education:
* BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering or equivalent technical degree required
* MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Engineering or equivalent technical degree preferred
