Responsible for the logistics, coordination and scheduling of H1N1 immunizations contract staff during scheduled or emergency initiated Tarrant County Public Health H1N1 Preparedness events. During the absence of other H1N1 supervisors, coordinates direct H1N1 immunization activities at scheduled or emergency initiated community events, clinics or mall venues across the county. When providing H1N1 supervisor coverage, oversees the day-to-day program operations at the event location. Grant funded.

AFTER A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS IS RECEIVED

Develop and implement plans, guidelines, policies, procedures and manuals related to H1N1 vaccination campaign. Coordinate with local governmental entities and other community organizations in planning and implementing regularly scheduled or emergency initiated public health preparedness activities related to H1N1 vaccination campaign. Act as on-site H1N1 subject matter expert, working in coordination with multiple on-site Preparedness partners (local government/municipalities representatives, 1st responders, community agencies, schools and businesses). Coordinate and schedule of contract staff during the H1N1 mass vaccination campaign for all events.& In the absence of H1N1 supervisor staffing, provide supervision and support to contract staff and conduct mass H1N1 vaccination immunization activities at scheduled clinics, events and malls across the county. Logistically plan to ensure that sufficient quantities of vaccine, medical or general supplies or protective equipment is on hand for public heath response worker for mass immunization campaigns. Provide H1N1-related training and support to contract nursing staff. Minimum Requirements: To apply, must have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Emergency Management, Public Health Administration, Science, Nursing, Sociology, Humanities or Psychology;
OR
To apply, must have an Associate's Degree in Emergency Management, Public Health Administration, Science, Nursing, Sociology, Humanities or Psychology + five (5) full-time years of work experience in the same areas as listed above.

Strong written and oral communication skills is required.

Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple distractions is important.
