Assist the Tarrant County Local Health Authority in strategic leadership, direction, coordination and assessment of activities to ensure state and local readiness, inter-agency collaboration and medical preparedness for H1N1.

1.& Assists the Local Health Authority/Medical Director in maintaining current and up-to-date information on CDC and State H1N1 medical recommendations and guidelines. 2.& Participates in H1N1 conference calls with Federal, State and Local agencies. 3.& Communicates Local Health Authority H1N1 directives to Public Health Staff, as required. 4.& Works with Public Health staff and community partners in delivery of H1N1 vaccinations. 5.& Assists the Local Health Authority in responding to H1N1 questions. 6.& Other H1N1 duties, as required. Minimum Requirements: To apply, must hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).

To apply, must have a current RN license. MUST PROVIDE LICENSING AGENCY AND LICENSE NUMBER ON APPLICATION IN THE "License" FIELD OR RISK DISQUALIFICATION.

Must have the ability to community effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Physical Demands and Work Environment & Other Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift, push and pull.
