Job: Signs and Markings Technician

The City of Mesquite is seeking a Signs and Markings Technician in the Traffic division to perform a variety of tasks in the maintenance and installation of traffic signs; painting pavement markings and striping; to apply preformed plastic pavement markings; to install raised pavement markers; and to maintain records on materials and equipment used.

Requires a high school diploma or GED.

Requires three (3) months of experience in maintaining and repairing traffic signs and painting street markings or closely related work.

Must possess a valid Class C Texas driver's license.

Must be available to work M-F 7am-4:30pm.
