We are currently hiring for a Produce Clerk!

Some of the responsibilities include:
* Unload produce goods from truck.
* Unpack cartons and crates of merchandise in produce storage rooms and coolers.
* Prepare, trim, and wrap items such as strawberries, lettuce, and corn.
* Rotate, inspect products, and stock displays with new merchandise.
* Examine shelves to identify which items need to be replenished.
* Work back stock to reduce inventory.
* Set up advertising signs. Set up ice tables. Build displays to attract customers.
* Answer questions about produce.
* Clean and maintain work area, equipment, and display cases.
* Respond to customer requests, be patient, and pleasant with customers.

* Independent mobility within the dept. Standing for 6-8 hours. Occasionally stooping or crouching to reach merchandise in display and/or stock area.
* Manual dexterity to handle merchandise. Finger dexterity to handle cleaning and prepping of produce and papers.
* Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers. Vision sufficient to select/stock merchandise and read labels.
* Strength to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
