POSITION SUMMARY
Using principles and applications of instructional design methodology, work with subject matter experts to create curricula targeted to healthcare professionals. Adult learning principles, internal design processes and creativity are combined to create self-study (both written and video), instructor-led, and online training programs useful and interesting to customers.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
  • Work with subject matter experts to structure content for all healthcare education programs. Structure objectives. Research material for further clarification. Determine media format for content (online, video, print-based materials). Evaluate material for completeness. Structure learning activities within the programs in a dynamic, sequential and multistage process. Create measurable assessments of the content
  • Provide producers with a detailed outline/storyboard of the content containing objectives, supporting material, assessment questions, and recommended activities to enhance the learning.
  • With the guidance of subject matter experts and the Director of Education, research and write education programs.
  • Work with the Director of Education to obtain and incorporate the needs assessments of the audience into the content.
  • As requested, evaluate the overall quality of the finished training products based on internal design processes and principles of instructional design methodology. Review course materials for structure, clarity, usefulness and appropriateness to target audience. Provide feedback to instructional designers regarding quality of content. Provide feedback to producers regarding quality of video content
  • Communicate effectively with members of production and accreditation teams, external subject matter experts, and with other persons/departments within CiNet to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects.

    SKILLS & ABILITIES
    Education : Master's Degree

    Experience : Two to four years related experience

    Computer Skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Knowledge of computer based training and content creation software helpful
