Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities• Develop new business from prospects and seek opportunities to grow relationship with customers.• Provide mentoring to junior business development/relationship managers.• Assist in preparation of prescreen memos in conjunction with the portfolio banker/portfolio manager.• Discuss prescreen memo with credit administration along with the portfolio banker/portfolio manager, as necessary.• Present recommendation of credit memorandum in conjunction with the portfolio banker/portfolio manager, as necessary to credit administration and management.• Perform overview credit analysis and evaluate capital structures, company fundamentals and industry trends along with the portfolio banker/portfolio manager.• Maintain and cultivate an effective working relationship with Internal (credit administration, middle market lending credit staff, loan servicing and other departments) and External stakeholders (borrowers, attorneys and administrative agent).• Review loan documents.• Other miscellaneous duties.Job Qualifications/Requirements• Required: Minimum of 5 years as an RM with Dallas C&I clients in middle market and/or in corporate banking sectors• Required: Knowledge of General Loan Policy• Required: Experience in selling C&I related products• Required: Ability to structure creative and sound credit facilities• Required: Quality assurance experience• Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Required: Excellent customer service skills• Preferred: Analytical and organizational skills• Potentially an ability to work on financial models
