    Purpose and Summary of position:

    • Prepare federal proforma corporate income tax returns for consolidated group
    • Prepare state income tax & franchise returns
    • Prepare Federal and State Extensions
    • Prepare Federal and State Estimated Payments
    • Prepare annual tax provisions
    • Prepare and post BCS quarterly/annual JE's related to tax provision
    • Prepare global ASC 740-10 (FIN48) summary/rollforward and communicate SAP entries to the appropriate accounting centers on a quarterly basis
    • Perform account reconciliation for various US and foreign tax accounts in accordance with Celanese Policies and Procedures
    • Assist with resolving federal and state notices
    • Coordinate control evidence (SOX) for the US tax group
    • Prepare various book to tax adjustments


    Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with preparation of corporate federal income tax returns (Form 1120)
    • Experience with multiple state income/franchise tax return preparation
    • Experience with tax preparation software (OneSource/Corp Tax)
    • Experience with large consolidated group tax returns
    • Advanced level of use/knowledge of Excel
    • Experience with account reconciliations
    • Team player
    • Thorough and attentive to detail
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
    • Ability to not only gather and report information but also analyze results and identify ways to improve

    Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Experience with SAP
    • Experience with BCS
    • Experience with accounting procedures and policies
    • Experience with Fortune 500 Company
    • Experience with researching complex corporate tax issues

    Required Years’ Experience:

    • 2 to 4 years

    Required Education:

    • BBA/BSA, CPA Preferred
