Overall Job Objective

Basic Function

Tennis Instructor/Camp Counselor will help facilitate summer tennis youth camps and afternoon junior tennis programs.  The ideal candidate should have some tennis experience, have qualities that demonstrate a high energy attitude, an outgoing nature towards others, and be motivated to help our other team members facilitate the three "E's" of our tennis camps and programs (Educate, Entertain, Exercise).

Camp Counselor duties - $11.50/hour
Tennis Instruction - $15.00/session

Essential Job Functions


*  Facilitate and coordinate summer tennis youth camps.

*  Facilitate and coordinate afternoon junior tennis programs.

*  Assist with scheduled activities, special events and tournaments.

*  Promote tennis center programs, events and pro shop products.

*  Provide excellent customer service to tennis center patrons while in tennis center pro shop and/or on court.

*  Ensure staff and customer safety.

Minimum Requirements


A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Employee must be at least 16 years old. Background in volunteering for tennis related events or activities are a plus.  Certification of CPR/FA is preferred; it will be required upon hire.
