Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as an AS/400 Developer. In this role you will serve as a technical advisor, providing technical direction and guidance to the Adjustments/PDE application development team to ensure appropriate technical solutions for assigned projects. As part of the Adjustments/PDE team, you will be expected to be proficient in all critical functions of application development and will champion SDLC methodologies with a deep understanding of best practices to ensure that quality standards are met. You will provide solutions and design complex functionality within the Adjustments/PDE application. You will review and approve project documents such as requirements, design, test plans and test results. You will collaborate with other teams as needed throughout the SDLC process, for example; QA, Change Management, Architecture, Database Management and business leaders. This will require communication on a technical level as well as a business level.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a combination of the following: IBM AS/400, RPG/ILE, CL
- Minimum of 5 years of proven knowledge and understanding of SDLC
(System Development Life Cycle), platforms/application -and/or software
- Minimum of 5 years of experience partnering on projects with the project manager, as appropriate, to identify technical requirements and alternatives to accomplish project requirements while providing accurate time estimates

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with Cobol and Synon/2e
-Experience with RxClaim or other PBM system is preferred
- Consulting skills
- Leadership, facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills required.
- Experience leading project teams including: meeting deliverable dates, leading a project team and direct communication with business leaders
- Ability to work closely with the project team to provide solutions to complex technical and business requirements or client needs, including technical design, problem resolution, implementation and operational issues.
- Assist in establishment of and adherence to technical direction, standards, guidelines and methodology for use in specified technologies in own discipline.
- Ability to lead in technically complex phases or projects/initiatives, take accountability for technical quality of solutions
- Mentor other team members

BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Will accept verifiable HS diploma / GED with 2 years of relevant work experience for every year college not attained in addition to required years of experience.
