Job Description
The Senior AS400 Developer will develop and maintain software applications critical to the operations of CVS Health by incorporating peripheral knowledge of other CVS Health applications and related technologies in the analysis and design of complex solutions. The Sr. Analyst App Development is proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion software development lifecycle (SDLC) methods and best practices on the team to ensure that quality standards are met.

The Senior AS400 Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned
* Ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines
* Delivering projects artifacts including but not limited to: project requirements, analysis & design documents, programming specifications, test plans and results and programming documentation while delivery assignments with in the specified time frames

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience with AS/400, RPG and related technologies
* 3+ years of demonstrated leadership in application development, SDLC, or technical operations environment

Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience with Synon/2e
* Experience and a thorough understanding of RxClaim or other PBM applications
* Experience providing effective solutions based on subject matter expertise
* Experience in leading technical aspects of a project effectively
* Experience in participation with negotiating and delivering customer requirements or demands

* High School Diploma/GED required
* Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred
