Job Description
As a Data Strategy advisor, you will be responsible for developing data management applications to deliver analytical datasets part of the overall analytical solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with the partners with in analytics team and also other business unites including product, Finance, IT, and other to implement the data management solutions based on the specific analytic needs. You will be considered the subject matter expert utilizing data management tools like SAS/SQL or R/Python programming and along with analytical business experience to translate business requests to the required data management solution. In this role, you will design a process that combine both medical and pharmacy claims and deliver analytical datasets.

Key Responsibilities include:
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business objectives and requirements
* Conduct data profiling on complex set up both internal and external data and derive insights on how the data is connected and what the quality is.
* Design and develop complex data processes using data management tools such as SAS/SQL. R/Python to process large volume of data and create aggregate tables and analytical datasets.
* Model analytical data layer tables to support the broader analytical usecases.
* Lead and participate in proof of concepts to build the data layers and concepts to derive the analytical insights
* Perform Quality Control functions including built-in QC checks to validate the created data assets are accurate and align with business operations and expectations.
* Implement automation of data management processes to build the analytical data-sets on on-going basis.

Required Qualifications
1. 6 years of advanced data management experience with data analysis and analytical programming logic such as SAS, SQL, R or Python
2. Experience working within the business team part of data and analytics teams to understand the business needs and support data management activities
3. Experience working directly with business partners or clients in understanding the analytical requirement and developing data use cases and data management processes.
4. Experience with data processing very large volume of both internal and external data to create the analytical datasets.
5. Strong design & development experience with Informatica
6. Experience with conducting POC to develop data layers to support the reporting needs
7. Excellent problem solving skills to troubleshoot data issues and potential impacts. Solid organizational skills with focus on accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
* PBM healthcare experience is preferred.
* Experience in developing dashboards using tools like Tableau

Education
BS in MIS or analytics/ Related Field. MS or MBA preferred
