One of our current priorities is identifying candidates to focus on Programmatic and Display advertising, an existing growth engine for Hotels.com and the most dynamic marketing channel in the business.

As one of Facebook and Google’s top global advertisers, we at Hotels.com partner closely with a dedicated partner account teams to test and implement new marketing technologies before they are released to the rest of the global marketplace.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for driving incremental revenue through Programmatic/data-driven Display advertising, with automation and return on investment maximization in mind.
  • Work inside a buying technology platform to steward campaigns (budget, pricing, bid optimization, frequency management, etc.)
  • Own regional partner relationships for Programmatic
  • Partner with Google, Facebook and other Programmatic platforms to ensure Hotels.com is an early adopter of all product alphas and betas
  • Plan, implement, analyze and document tests and insights

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree required, Graduate degree (Advertising, Marketing, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, etc.)
  • 2-5 years' experience in digital/programmatic media, Brand/Video advertising, travel or e-commerce
  • Analytical mindset, including ability to manipulate data, perform financial analysis and process large amounts of data to understand trends
  • Strong communications skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Conceptualize, initiate and handle tests
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (PowerPoint a plus)
  • Optional technical proficiencies: SQL, Python, R, JavaScript, Java, SAS, VBA
  • Natural curiosity and passion for media trends and emerging technology
  • Understanding and/or experience with Programmatic, auction-based media buying, online advertising and other display media concepts (ad/data networks, DMP, exchanges, DSP, SSP) is a plus but not required
  • Familiar with various display advertising purchasing models (CPM, dCPM, CPC, CPA) and online media planning is a plus not required
  • A drive to understand marketing’s return on investment (i.e. incrementality) with handling robust data transfer logs and marketing API integrations is a plus but not required
