We are looking for a motivated and energetic Social Media Manager to join our global communications team, based in our Dallas office.

We're seeking a social dynamo to drive conversation, build buzz and help make Hotels.com famous in North America. This multifaceted role will support the Head of PR and Social Media for The Americas. Developing buzz-worthy social campaigns and conversation; providing strategical counsel on content and paid amplification; managing the budget for our biggest region; and tracking and implementing measurement programs, this opportunity is perfect for someone with great multitasking skills and big-picture thinking. At the same time, we’ll need someone who’s detail-oriented for perfect execution of projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Create and lead North American social campaigns to drive engagement through pop culture and real-time reactions to trends and breaking news
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to bring to bear earned media-focused campaigns for social
  • Lead integrated campaigns from ideation to execution
  • Ensure continual innovation with standout campaigns that move the needle
  • Manage agencies including regular performance evaluation
  • Offer guidance, feedback and direction for all forms of content (images, graphics, GIFs, meme, video, etc.)
  • Collaborate with, and support, Marketing teams (including mobile, loyalty, product, regional marketing and merchandising teams amongst others) in broader initiatives
  • Provide counsel and execute for paid social media amplification against content
  • Liaise with social moderators tasked with customer service via social media
  • Manage and track the North America budget and invoice process

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 4 years’ experience; consumer brand experience required
  • Strategic thinker who “gets stuff done”
  • Have experience working closely with or as part of PR teams
  • Consistent track record of creative and innovative campaigns with standout results
  • Strong understanding of brand-building and how all the marketing disciplines fit together
  • Social media and influencer campaign experience
  • Solid experience with social media data tracking and measurement
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement paid social media amplification and support
  • Comfortable with risk-taking to challenge the status quo
  • Ability to synthesize data into logical conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience working on a global team with demonstrated experience across multiple regions preferred
