The Talent Management System Consultant will be responsible for managing basic Learning Management System /Talent Management System (LMS/TMS) functionality, developing innovative approaches to leverage the Flowserve LMS capabilities to improve learner experience and development effectiveness, identifying gaps and pursuing potential connection points with other HR systems and tools, advocating other talent management platform capabilities, and acting as a member of an existing content development team.

  • Serve as the LMS/TMS subject matter expert.

  • Serve as lead or team member to for other Talent Management Systems and offerings, such as Rosetta Stone or SuccessFactors, to ensure that systems meet talent management needs and align systems with processes.

  • Provide strategic guidance in LMS and extended talent management suite usage, upgrade needs and potential functionality.

  • Identify methods to improve productivity and growth via use of systems.

  • Train departmental administrators in use of the LMS/TMS.

  • Apply sound instructional design techniques and adult learning methodologies to the LMS portal design, system messaging, and course development.

  • Enforce content policies and standards for course and configuration management.

  • Partner with LMS/TMS provider when problems or questions arise to support users and troubleshoot problems.

  • Analyze course data and evaluations and prepare reports to assist in the tracking of course effectiveness.

  • Develop interactive eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline.

  • Process invoices and chargebacks related to the LMS/TMS.

  • Create and manage successful vendor relationships. Ensure accountability for vendors’ delivery on timelines, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or related field preferred.

  • 5 years’ experience in human resources, training, and/or talent management. Experience in administering an LMS/TMS; Cornerstone, SumTotal, and/or Success Factors experience preferred. Proficiency with eLearning authoring tool functionality, preferably Articulate Storyline.

  • Demonstrable understanding of adult learning principles and proven training methodologies. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Power Point, and Excel).

  • Experience using metrics and evaluation methods for training programs.

  • Demonstrated capability in project management and communication.

  • Self-motivated, self-starter with intrinsic drive.
