Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of Electric Power Generation equipment including Generator sets, Automatic Transfer Switches, Switchgear, and other products related to the integration and systems solutions of power generation.
  • Provides coverage and support of existing customer base
  • Develops new business markets and opportunities
  • Prepares and presents sales contracts and finance purchase options
  • Prepares territory and call plans, sales reports, expense, and sales activity reports
  • Develops new accounts and maintains accounts currently assigned
  • Formulates bids on new and existing jobs and projects
  • Identifies and acquires new EPG opportunities
  • Receives customer orders and serves as the customer contact point
  • Collaborates with other departments to generate sales leads and sell the store
  • Occasionally assists in familiarizing customer on equipment
  • Aids in implementing, sustaining, and developing quality improvement processes that focus on safety, financials, operations, and customer service
  • Maintains records of sales or other business transactions
  • Prepare sales or other contracts
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Influential presentation and public speaking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Physical ability to respond to an emergency situation
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus             

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one to three years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is required. Three to five years of experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent with some college coursework or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • 1 year of sales or customer support experience required
  • Bachelor of Business Administration focused in Marketing or Management preferred       


  • Extensive driving required; occasional overnight travel required.
