The Role

The Suite Supervisor position is responsible for supporting all food and beverage operations.

Essential Job Functions Facilitates the distribution of food and beverage for all events according to floor assignments Conducts Pre-shift meetings Supervises the setup of all food and beverage in the suite according to reports Demonstrates a knowledge of all menu items. Ensures the quality of all food products according to food safety guidelines Ensures all sanitation standards implemented by Legends Hospitality are being executed properly Visit each suite (according to floor assignment) to ensure the atmosphere and quality of the presentation reflects a legendary experience for suite holders & guests before they arrive. Ensures all suites are clean and all drinks and food are disposed of after each event. Ensures work areas are clean and sufficiently stocked. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures. Ensures payment for food and beverage orders. Provides outstanding customer service. Supervises closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking cabinets (where applicable), restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily Closing Duty and Ending Inventory checklist. Attend mandatory pre-stock (Coordinate and organize the distribution of beverage and nonperishable items the day before event) Performs other various duties, as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Ability The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Excellent customer service Can be trusted to act in a manner that is truthful and values direct, honest communication at all levels of the organization Strong interpersonal skills Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly Can manage people and resources to get projects completed; has a strong ability to multi-task and keep order Detail Oriented Strong verbal communication skills Required Qualifications: Two (2) years of supervisor and or management experience in food and beverage; preferably in a restaurant or banquet setting Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment Must present a neat, well-groomed appearance at all times. Must be able to stand or walk for varying length of time Must be available to work an irregular schedule Must be able to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays. Valid TABC and Food Handlers Certification are a required Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, have use of hands to make beverages for the suites guests and patrons Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions Ability to lift and/ or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision Environmental Working Conditions: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
