Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness in an efficient, professional manner. 
  • Assist Servers with food delivery and guest service
  • Clean and reset tables

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

·Greet guests at table

·Perform Opening/Running/Closing/Weekly duties

·Continually bus tables throughout shift

·Reset tables within 3 minutes of guests departure

·Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout shift

·Deliver all food orders promptly, ensuring orders are correct and plating matches HOB standards

·Follow housekeeping standards per policy

·Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles

·Separate glass, cardboard and plastics per local codes

·Ensure that trash containers are clean, free of odor and lined

·Keep all dust pans clean and free of debris/odor

·Clean all spills immediately, use floor signs to caution guests and staff

·Keep all floors free of food, trash or other obstacles

·Safely transport bus tubs weighing up to 25 pounds from bus stations/table areas to dish room

·Pre-roll and store silverware, per venue specifications

·Turn all lost and found items in to Manager on Duty, record on Lost and Found Form

·Attend pre-shift meeting conducted by Manager on Duty prior to start of each shift

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Work environment is fast-paced
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques
