Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company offering an exceptional opportunity to join an internal highly motived, talented and collaborative web and mobile design team.

We are seeking a UI/UX designer to join our multi-disciplinary team based work environment that fosters individuality, teamwork, creativity, and a healthy culture.

This position will work closely with principal visual designers and developers and will contribute to and create new concepts and designs.

Will ensure that designs and user interfaces communicate consistent, effective experiences across multiple platforms and channels.

Will ensure designs align with information architectures with input from business analysts and/or other designers or leaders.

Will periodically produce storyboards, wife-frames, flowcharts design prototypes and other design elements.

Will collaborate with other designs to brainstorm new design approaches and functionalities that lead to enhance user experiences.

Some responsibilities will include:

Design new and improve web sites, applications and mobile (iOS)

Design one off digital products for web sites (such as banner ads, icons, illustrations etc.)

Effectively communicate ideas and designs and work with cross-cross-functional teams and clients

Conceptualize and collaborate using strategic thinking for marketing and other business priorities

Improve digital user experiences
Research evolving design trends and apply when appropriate

Must be a US citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer science or technical discipline.

Desired skills
Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process

Agile philosophy for web design and development

Design and workflow collaboration software

Web development life cycle process awareness
