Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin’s lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.

MFC in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking an EMI Engineer to partially support an international program. The successful candidate should have demonstrated knowledge and experience with Electromagnetic requirements and testing of military analog systems. The candidate will provide technical oversight and monitoring of a major subcontract and related sub tier subcontracts. The candidate should have the ability to perform detailed analysis and be able to review subcontractor electrical schematics with design experience for Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility.

Technical oversight of a major subcontract will also require the candidate to review and approve numerous technical supplier deliverables such as component reliability/failure rate analysis, plastic encapsulated device qualification plans and various other test plans to cover design verification, component solder integrity, unit acceptance and environmental analysis.

The Candidate must be able to work in a collaborative IPT environment and will be responsible for representing LM in several IPTs. They should have experience in risk management and earned value management. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills. The candidate should possess superior verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with customers and contractors in a highly charged environment.

Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance. This position will require some international travel, with several multi-week trips likely, and follow up trips dependent upon any remaining support necessary. All trips require weekend travel to maximize in country effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain a Secret level US Government Security Clearance
- EMI design and testing experience
- Experience with circuit simulation, schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Lab skills including test equipment operation, debug and verification testing.
- Ability to work well in an interdisciplinary environment.
- Clear, confident, concise, coherent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel to international customer locations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Extensive analog/digital hardware integration experience.
- Experience interfacing and working with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Familiar with typical business practices.
- Familiar with missile systems.
