The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the development and proper formatting of technical data textual narratives and graphics to support unit level maintenance of F-35 support equipment (SE) in the field. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of military aviation maintenance concepts, supporting joint technical data, and MIL-PRF-32216A. The candidate must be a self- starter and have the ability to consistently exercise appropriate discretion in the performance of their duties. Furthermore, the candidate must be able to lead subordinate developers by providing daily task assignments, general direction and reviewing completed assignments. The candidate will analyze technical and historical data, maintenance reports, customer feedback to determine appropriate support equipment configuration change requirements. They will also deal heavily with F-35 data (Product Data Manager, JDL - Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Data Library, ATLAS -Advanced Technical Logistics Applications System, ALIS – Autonomic Logistics Information Systems IFS and ePDM) as well as the associated analytical and engineering configuration management skills combined with the ability to work independently in a military Performance Based Logistics (PBL) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) acquisition environment. Additionally, they will independently support and perform change analysis activities including assessment of Maintenance Task Analysis (MTAs), Joint Technical Data (JTD) requirements, and support Time Compliance Technical Directive (TCTD) to influence current designs and modifications.
Selected candidate will develop knowledge in aviation
maintenance and supply areas including:
• MIL-PRF-322216A Government COTS manuals
• Military aircraft support equipment
• MIL-STD-1388-2B, LSAR data table population
• Maintenance Task Analysis
• Spares Provisioning
• Life Cycle Cost and trades analysis
• Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SM&R) decisions
• Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies

Basic Qualifications
The candidate selected for this position must have
good working knowledge / experience in the following areas / tools:
- Aircraft or support equipment maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders and electronic maintenance instructions
- Understanding of aviation industry standards concerning FOD, Safety and Tool Control
- Highly proficient in the use of core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- PDF Document conversions to other file formats
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Enterprise-Level Information Technology (IT) systems
- Logistics Support and Reliability/Maintainability analysis tools
- One or more of the following: ALIS CRM, DOORS, ATLAS, PDM, MS Visio and Project
- Must be able to obtain a US Government security

Desired skills
- F-35 support equipment sustainment experience
- Ability to work jointly with the customer and teammates to identify solutions that meet both Government’s and industry’s needs;
- SE data management experience;
- Understanding of aviation maintenance quality assurance processes;
- Background in unit (“O”) level aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and support;
- Familiarity with product sustainment Concept of Operations and Plans;
- Experience using legacy Technical Publications including Illustrated Parts Breakdowns;
- Ability to conducted and participated in Trade Studies;
- Must be able to multitask;
- Must be able to work effectively in stressful environment;
- Ability to collaborate with and integrate multi-functional teams..
